Couples of weeks ago BRUNEI DARUSSALAM has celebrated its YOUTH DAY celebration at the HASSANAL BOLKIAH INDOOR STADIUM BERAKAS, BPY 2010 was also invited to take part in the memorable moments.The ceremony was attended by HIS MAJESTY THE SULTAN HAJI HASSANAL BOLKIAH MU'IZZUDDIN WADDAULAT SULTAN DAN YANG DIPERTUAN NEGARA BRUNEI DARUSSALAM. Two days after the ceremony, all participant that is participating in making the YOUTH DAY celebration went great, was invited to attend an appreciation dinner hosted by the ministry of culture youth and sport also attended in the dinner was YANG BERHORMAT PEHIN ORANG KAYA PERKERMA LAILA DIRAJA DATO PADUKA AWANG HAJI HAZAIR BIN HAJI ABDULLAH

The 1st Contingent meeting has just finished, the propose of having a Contingent meeting is to discuss all about our preparation for the 37TH SSEAYP 2010 so that all things will go very smooth.
Hi there dear readers!!! this is our 5th day of fasting in the month of RAMADHAN, Before we started our 1st Contingent Meeting we had our committee discussion about our national presentation preparation, We started the discussion as early as 4p.m as our 1st Contingent Meeting started at 8p.m sharp, Half an hour after the discussion we all planned to go buy our self food for "SUNGKAI".

Welcome and we present you the official blog for BPY2010 this year! This blog will tell the journey of the final 28 in any ways.Here,you can catch a glimpse of our recent activities and what we've done so far,also our preparation throughtout the training.Some pictures will tell the stories and some posts to explain all the episodes.
To those in a questions on their head, SSEAYP stands for SHIP FOR SOUTH EAST ASIAN YOUTH PROGRAMMED , or as we Bruneian call it, Program KAPAL BELIA ASIA TENGGARA. Basically it is a annual youth programme that involves selected youth from all ASEAN countries and Japan, on board the iconic ship, M.S.FUJIMARU (this ship officially used since 2009 so it's a brand new ship-before was NIPPON Maru). It is funded and carried out by the Japanese Government.
Basically... Top promote friendship and mutual understanding among the youths of JAPAN and S.E.A countries to broaden their prespective on the world,as well as to strenghten their moticvation and abilities in the international cooperation by participating in discussions,introducing each other country,and various exchange activities.
Youths on board will be taking part in activities such as, discussion programs, solidarity group activities, club activities, give introductions about home countries, giving and listening to lectures, and many more.
In short, we’d be acting as young ambasaddors of our home countries as we stop by every SEA nation to give courtesy calls, attend receptions and participate in institutional visits. Some would get immersed into other cultures through homestays and interaction with local youths.
It's really a whole new thing,and this is just the beginning of our journey!
This is it!After a very very long wait...Finally,the message that all of the BPYs been waiting for arrived in every phones of these 28 selected participants.We sleep,we eat,we walk,we watch tv with our phone around not even an inch away from us.This is the answer of our long time misery.
